ባሕቲ መስከረም፣ መዓልቲ ናጽነት፣ መዓልቲ ስዉኣት... ካብተን ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዓመት-ዓመት ብክብ ዝበለ ክብርን ፍናንን ዝዝክረንን ዘብዕለንን መዓልታት ኢየን።

18 መስከረም  ግን ፍሉይ ትርጉምን ስምዒትን ዘሎዋ መዓልቲ ኢያ። ደንበ ተቓወምቲ ምልኪ (ደንበ ደለይቲ ፍትሒ) ብከቢድ ትካዜ እንዝክራ መዓልቲ ኢያ። ድሕሪ ማእሰርቲ ኣባላት ጒጅለ 15ን፡ ምዕጻው ነጻ ጋዜታታትን፡ ጥልማን መብጽዓታት ሰውራናን ባህግታት ህዝብናን ንኹሉ ዜጋ ዝያዳ ግሉጽ ኰይኑ። 

ብሓጺሩ፡ 18 መስከረም መዓልቲ ዝኽሪ ናይ ኲሎም እቶም ብኣማእት ዝቝጸሩ፡ ድሕሪ ናጽነት ሃገር ብናይ ውሽጢ ጸላኢ ተጨውዮም ድሃይ ዘይመለሱን ብዘይ ፍትሒ እተዳጐኑን ጀጋኑ መላእ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ኢዮም። ቀጻሊ ዝኽሪ ይግብኦም። ክሳዕ ፍትሒ ዝረኽቡ ኣብ ጐኖም ከም ዘሎና እነረጋግጸላ መዓልቲ ትኹን።

መሪሕነታዊ ልኡኽ ሰልፊ ዲሞክራሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ (ሰዲህኤ)  ኣብ ሰሜናዊ ደንማርክ ኣልቦርግ ብ16 መስከረም 2017 ኣብ ዝተኸፍተ  ጉባአ ደንማርክ ማሕበራዊ ደሞክራስያዊ ሰልፊ (ደማዲሰ) ተሳቲፉ። ኣባላት እቲ ልኡኽ፡ ኣባላት ማእከላይ ባይቶ ሰዲህኤ ኣቶ ተኽለ መለኪንን ኣቶ ኣማኑኤል በራኽን እዮም።

ኣብቲ ናይ መጀመርያ መዓልቲ ጉባአ፡ ልኡኽ ሰዲህኤ ብኣቶ መንግስተኣብ ኣስመሮም ኣቦመንበር ሰልፊ ዲሞክራሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ናብ ኣደመንበር ደማዲሰ ወይዘሮ መተ ፍረደሪክሰን ዝተለእኸ መልእኽቲ፡ ናብ ናይቲ ሰልፊ ዓለም-ለኻዊ ሰክረተር ኣቶ ሲሞን ረደር ቶምሰን ኣረኪቡ። ትሕዝቶ’ቲ መልእኽቲ ንኣባላት እቲ ልኡኽ ሰዲህኤ ዘላሊ፡ ንተሳትፎ ሰዲህኤ ኣብቲ ጉባአ ዘመጉስን  ነቲ በቲ ተሳትፎ ዝተረኽበ  ርክብ ኣቢልካ ብዛዕባ ክልተኣዊ  ዝምድና ኣሕዋት ሰልፍታት ዝርርብ ናይ ምግብራ ዕድል ምፍጣሩ ዝንእድን እዩ።  ክልቲአን ኣሓት ሰልፍታት ኣብ 2013 ኣብ ሊያፕዚግ ጀርመን ኣባላት መስራቲ ጉባአ  ገስጋሲ ምሕዝነት እየን ነይረን።

ኣቦመንበር ሰልፊ ደሞክራሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ኣብቲ መልእኽቱ ብዛዕባ ምህዳም ኤርትራውያን ካብ ሃገሮምን ኩነታት ስደተኛታትን ኣብ ዝጠቐሶ እቲ እንኮ ግብራዊ መፍትሒ ነቲ ኣብ ኤርትራ ዘሎ  ጨቋኒ ስዓት ምውጋድ ምዃኑ ጠቒሱ። እዚ ከኣ ብደሞክራስያዊ ኣገባብ ንኣውንታዊ ለውጢ ይቃለሱ ንዘለዉ ኤርትራውያን ብምሕያል ዝካየድ ምዃኑ ጠቒሱ።

ኣብቲ ቀዳማይ መዓልቲ ጉባአ፡ መኽፈቲ ስነስርዓትን ምይይጥ ብዛዕባ ንደንማርክ ማሕበራዊ ደሞክራስያዊ ሰልፊ ኣብዚ እዋንዚ ዘጋጥሞ ዘሎ ብደሆታትን ብዝምልከት ጽዑቕ ርክባት ተኻይዱ። ኣብ ናይ ድሕሪ ቀትሪ ርክብ ድማ እቲ ጉባአ ብዛዕባ  ጉዳይ ስደተኛታት ኣብ ኤውሮጳን ካልእ ኩርነዓት ዓለምን ብዝምልከት ተመያይጡ። እዚ ጉባአኡ ዘካየደ ሰልፊ ምስቲ ንጉዳይ ስደተኛታት ዝምልከት ማሕበራዊ ኩነታት ኣብ ዝምልከት ኣብ ዝተፈላለያ ሃገራት የጋጥም ምስ ዘሎ ብደሆታት ይሰማማዕ እዩ።

ልኡኽ ሰዲህኤ ምስ ኣቶ ፓውል ኒየልሶን ደንማርካዊ ናይ ቅድም ሚኒስተርን ኣብዚ እዋን’ዚ ኮሚሽነር ሕብረት ኤውሮጳን ተራኺቡ ብዛዕባ መግለጺ ሰዲህኤ ተዘራሪቡ። ኣባላት ልኡኽ ሰዲህኤ ኣቶ ተኽለ መለኪንን ኣቶ ኣማኑኤል በራኽን ምስ ልኡኽ ግንባር ፖሊሳርዮ  ምዕራዊ ሳህራ’ውን ሓጺር እሂንምሂን ኣካይዶም።

ማእከላይ ባይቶ ሰልፊ ዲሞክራሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ (ሰዲህኤ) ኣብ ናይ ሎሚ ዕለት 17 መስከረም 2017 ኣኼባኡ ብዛዕባ’ቲ ምስ ተቓወምቲ ውድባት ኤርትራ ንምልዛብ ብማእከላይ ባይቶ ዝተገብረ መጸዋዕታን ዝተዋህበ መልስታትን ኣብ መጻኢ ክካየድ ዘለዎ መደባትን ተመልኪቱ። ቀጺሉ፡ ካብ ቀዋሚ ሽማግለ ቤት ጽሕፈት ገንዘባውን ማሕበራውን ጕዳያት ዝቐረበ መጽናዕትን ለበዋታትን ሰሚዑ።

ኣብ መወዳእታ ድማ፡ ኣቦ መንበርን ሸሞንተ ሓለፍቲ ኣብያተ-ጽሕፈታትን ዝርከብዎ ፈጻሚ ሽማግለ ብዲሞክራስያዊ ኣገባብ መሪጹ። ደምዳሚ መግለጺ ኣብ ዝስዕብ ቀረባ መዓለታት ክወጽእ ኢዩ።

A leadership delegation of the Eritrean People's Democratic Party (EPDP) is in Aalborg, northern Denmark, attending congress of the fraternal Danish Social Democratic Party (DSDP), which opened Saturday, 16 September 2017. Delegation members are Messrs Tekle Melekin and Amanuel Beraki, both members of the EPDP Central Council.

During sessions of the first day of the congress, the EPDP delegation handed over to Mr. Simon Redder Thomsen, DSDP International Secretary, a letter  addressed to DSDP Chairwoman, Ms Mette Frederiksen, from EPDP Chairman Menghesteab Asmerom. The letter, which introduced the delegation members, expressed the EPDP's profound pleasure to attend the DSDP event in Alborg and seize the opportunity of holding bilateral talks for closer relationship of the two fraternal parties, which were founding members of the Progressive Alliance in Leipzig, Germany, in 2013. 

After touching upon the plight of the Eritrean people at home and refugees, the EPDP Chairman underlined the fact that the only viable solution to the problem in Eritrea is the removal of the regime that can be realized in a democratic manner through the empowerment of Eritreans struggling for a positive change.

The first day of the congress held intensive sessions with opening addresses and discussion on the challenges of the Danish Social Democratic Party at the present. A plenary session later in the afternoon discussed global issues like the problem of migration and refugees in Europe and the rest of the world. The DSPD  concurred with other discussants on the prevailing failure in the integration of migrants and the challenge of facing parallel "societies" building up in several European countries.

The EPDP delegation also met Mr. Paul Nielson, former Danish minister currently an EU Commissioner, with whom they shared the EPDP statement to the congress. Messrs. Tekle Melekin and Amanuel Beraki held a brief chat with Mr. Mohammed Liman Ali, a delegate of the Polisario Front of Western Sahara.

The DSDP Congress is on its second and final day today, 17 September, during which the EPDP delegation will share their statement with congress participants and hold side-talks with as many as possible of participant delegations, most of whom are members of the Progressive Alliance.

On 7 September 2017, Board members of the cultural Eritrea-Sweden association known as 'Eritrea in Our Hearts', met with Mayor Yonas Attenius  and his team at the Gothenburg city hall,  and discussed many pressing issues, in particular those affecting members of the Eritrean community in the region. Mayor Attenius is in  charge of city's public works and administration. The Eritrea-Sweden cultural body was represented by association president, Mr. Thomas Magnusson and his team.

Mr. Magnusson warmly thanked the Mayor's Office for the meeting and explained objectives and activities of the association in support of community members. Messrs Zehaie Keleta and Amjed Yassin, association board members on their part talked about the suffering of the Eritrean people due to the erroneous policies of the  regime in Eritrea. They also took time to explain the uncountable abuses of the Eritrean regime embassies upon Eritrean communities in exile.

During the two-hour long discussion, the Mayor showed great interest to know more about the situation of  young refugees in the city, particularly women, and was given detailed information and clarifications on those issues. At the end of the discussion,  the board members of 'Eritrea in Our Hearts' presented a list of their needs and demands for consideration and action by the Office of the Mayor. They were later taken to a visit of the new Gothenburg City Hall building. 

The Central Council of the Eritrean People's Democratic Party (EPDP) on Sunday 10 September, 2017, adopted a Party Renewal document and formed a new Commission for Party Renewal  which is expected to report to  the Council every two months on the implementation of the document and additional ideas and tasks that can surface in repeated consultations with all concerned inside and outside the Party. The Commission is mandated to function till the next EPDP Congress in two years.

The party renewal project was decided during the 7th regular meeting of the EPDP Central Council that ended on 18 September 2016. It is to be recalled that a research body formed by the Executive Committee presented its paper at the Party Conference of March 2017 in Frankfurt, and the document now adopted by the EPDP leadership is a summary of those findings so far discussed.

The chain of sessions, being held electronically every weekend, are attended by the EPDP Central Council members who reside in the following 12 countries, listed in alphabetical order: Australia, Canada, Denmark, Ethiopia, Germany, Holland, the Sudan, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

The current 8th Regular Meeting of the Council held its first and second session on 26 and 27 August 2017 during  which it reviewed and adopted annual reports of the nine  executive offices  and other organs of the party. After skipping a weekend for the Eid al-Adha Holiday, the third session convened on 9 September deliberated on reports received from various organs in North America dealing with a destructive hiccup caused by a faction in the zonal leadership and its accomplices. In this regard, the Council reviewed a draft paper presented by the executive body and decided as follows:

1. The unruly acts and wild pronouncements of the ex-zone committee in North America have nothing to do with the EPDP and its organs;
2. Highly commends EPDP North America members who are  abiding  by decisions of the party leadership elected at the second EPD Congress of 2015, and who are closely cooperating with the newly formed Preparatory Committee for an emergency zonal congress for EPDP North America;
3.  Likewise, the EPDP Council called upon all members in North America to closely cooperate with the Preparatory Committee and share their views by attending  the emergency congress now under preparation.

As noted earlier, the 4th session of the current meeting on Sunday, 10 September, dealt mainly with party renewal issues although it also managed to vote on elected Zerabruk Gebre-Tatewos of EPDP Holland to be the new Auditor General of the party finances. The next session is scheduled for Sunday, 17 September 2017.

2. ነቶም ንውሳኔታት ኣብ ካልኣይ ጕባኤ እተመርጸ ሕጋዊ መሪሕነትን ንመምርሒ ኣሰናዳኢት ሽማግለ ህጹጽ ጕባኤ ዞባ ሰሜን ኣመሪካን ተቐቢሎም ዝኸዱ ዘለዉ ኣባላት  መሪሕነትን መሰረታትን’ቲ  ዞባ ምስጋናኡ ገሊጹ።
3. ማእከላይ ባይቶ ንኹሎም ኣብ ዞባ ሰሜን ኣመሪካ ዝርከቡ ኣባላት ኣብቲ ተመዲቡ ዘሎ  ህጹጽ ጕባኤ ተሳቲፎም ርእይቶኦም ከቕርቡን ምስታ ብሰልፊ ወጺኣ ዘላ ኣሰናዳኢት ሽምግለ ክተሓባበሩን ይጽውዕ።

ኣብ ናይ ዕለት 10 መስከረም ውዕሎኡ ድማ፡ ነቲ ብኮሚቴ ምሕዳስ ሰልፊ ዝቐረበ መጽናዕቲ ድሕሪ ምምይያጥ ኣጽዲቑ። ነቲ መስርሕ ምሕዳስ ንምትግባር ዝድለ ቅጥዕታትን መጽናዕትን ዘቕርብ ኮሚሽን ድማ መዚዙ። ማእከላይ ባይቶ፡ ኣብ ነፍስወከፍ ክልተ ኣዋርሕ፡ ፍሉይ ኣኼባታት እናጸውዐ፡ ንጸብጻባት ኮሚሽን ክሰምዕን ዘድሊ ውሳኔታት ክወስድን ኢዩ።

ከምኡ’ውን፡ ጠቕላል ተቖጻጻሪ ሰልፊ ሓው ዘርኣብሩኽ ገብረታትዮስ ክኸውን ብምሉእ ድምጺ መሪጹ።

ኣኼባኡ ምስ ተወደአ ከኣ ንብምሉእ መስርሕ እቲ ኣኼባ ዝምልከት ሰፊሕ ደምዳሚ መግለጺ ከውጽእ ወሲኑ ኣሎ።

ዝስዕብ ኣኼባኡ ድማ ዝመጽእ ዘሎ ሰንበት ዕለት 17 መስከረም 2017 ክኸውን ኢዩ።
