The new EU High Representative Mogherini with the outgoing Lady Ashton
In a congratulatory message sent to former Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini for becoming the new High Representative for the European Union, the Eritrean People’s Democratic Party (EPDP) asked the EU to give “appropriate attention to the ever worsening situation in Eritrea” and help Eritreans to stop their country’s ongoing slide o the worst.

On Sunday August 10, 2014 EPDP Bay Area participated in a Bologna 2014 Conference hosted by EYSC local chapter. The agenda was to discuss core topics of the upcoming Bologna 2014 Conference. Mr. Solomon Assefaw presented the topics of Bologna 2014 in detail. Participants discussed the topics and specifically on the area of Eritrean issue by Eritreans concept, change from inside Eritrea, concept of non-violent means of struggle, building alliance with people who has the same vision and value, and mass mobilization.
