EPDP Central Council Elects Tesfai Degiga as its New Party Chairman

At its first meeting held within the halls of the Eritrea Festival launched on 2 August inside the University of Bockenheim, the Central Council of the unified Eritrean People’s Democratic Party (EPDP), elected Mr. Tesfai Woldemichael (Degiga) as the new chairman. Mr. Tesfai Degiga is one of the most respected veterans of the prolonged national struggle for Eritrea’s liberation and democratic future. At the end of the meeting, the council elected the list of his 8 candidates for the new executive committee.

The newly elected 35-person Central Council with five more non-voting members met Friday afternoon chaired by a senior party member, Mr. Woldeyesus Ammar, and elected him with acclamation and unlimited delight because their sole candidate for chairmanship has been highly reluctant to take the post for personal reasons.
In his acceptance speech, the designated EPDP chairman thanked all council members for the trust they had in him and he in turn expected continued hard work from every party member.

The Central Council itself was elected at the end of the 3rd and Unity Congress of the EPDP and the Eritrean National Salvation/Hidri, which was held between 29 July and 1st August in Wiesbaden near Frankfurt, Germany. The sister organizations agreed at the congress to continue calling the unified party as EPDP.
Speaking at the end of the election process the outgoing chairmen of the converging organizations, Messrs Kiflezghi Ghebremedhin and Menghesteab Asmerom, warmly thanked the candidate for his acceptance of the challenging post at this critical moment in the uphill struggle for democratic change in Eritrea.
After a few hours break in the evening, the new chairman submitted the list of his new executive committee and the team was acceptable to the Central Council. They are: Messrs Berhane Debesu, deputy party chairman in charge of Foreign Relations Office; Menghesteab Asmerom, head of Organizational Office; Mr. Kiflezghi Ghebrremedhin, Party Secretary; Ms Adiam Teferra, head of Women’s Affairs; Yassin Osman Neberai, head of Youth Affairs; Dr. Habtemichael Tekle, head of Finance Office; Fessehaye Hagos, head of Social Affairs; and Debessai Beyene, head of Information Office. The Central Committee also elected Mr. Futsum Isak as General Auditor.
At the end of the meeting late in the evening, the Council adopted a list of senior party cadres as Administrative Committee of the Chair Office.

ሳልሳይ ጉባአ ሰልፊ ዲሞክራሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ (ሰዲህኤ)ን ሃገራዊ ድሕነት ኤርትራ- ሕድሪ (ሃድኤ-ሕድርን)ን ኣብ ሳልሳይ መዓልቱ ብረቡዕ 31 ሓምለ 2019፡ ናይ ብጻይ ገብረእግዚኣብሄር ተወልደ ኣቦመንበር ሓይጻይት ሽማግለ ጸብጻብ ምስ ሰምዐ 35 ዝኣባላታ መሪሕነት መሪጹ።

ኣባላት ጉባአ ድምጾም ብምስጢር ንክህቡ ኣብ መስርዕ
ብዙሓት ተሳተፍቲ ጉባአ፡ ነቲ ዝተኣታተወ ኣገባብ ሕጸ፡ ዝማዕበለ ኣገባብ ምርጫ ምዃኑ ብምጥቃስ፡ ድሕሪ ውድቀት ምካዊ ስርዓት ኤርትራ፡ ብብዙሓት ሰልፍታት ተቐባልነት ንክረክብ ዘለዎም ተስፋ ገሊጾም። እዚ ኣቐዲምካ ሕጹያት ናይ ምቕራብ ቀጥዒ ብብዙሓት ማሕበራዊ ሰልፍታት፡ ኣብ ዝተፈላለያ ሃገራት ዝዝውተር ዲሞክራስያዊ ኣገባብ እዩ።
ብጻይ ገ/እግዘኣብሄር ተወልደ ከም ዝገለጾ፡ ኣብቲ ዝተኻየደ ሕጹያት ናይ ምቕራብ መስርሕ፡ ብ29 ጨናፍር ክልቲኡ ዝሰመረ ውድባት 133 ሕጹያት ከም ዝቐረቡን ካብዚኣቶም 52 ጥራይ ቅሩብነት ከም ዘርኣዩን ገሊጹ። ኣብ ርእሲ እዞም 52 ጉባአ 6 ሕጹያት ስለ ዝወሰኸ እቶም ኣብ መወዳእታ ዝተወዳደሩ 58 ምዃኖም ኣብሪሁ።
ኣብዚ ሳልሳይ መዓልቲ ጉባአ ካብ ዝተንጸባረቐ ካልእ ኣገዳሲ ጉዳይ፡ ህጹጽነትን ኣገዳነትን ተሳትፎ መንእሰይ ዝምልከት፡ ብመንእሰይ ኣድያም ሃይለ ሩፋኤል ካብ ሕቡራት መንግስታት ኣሜሪካ ዝቐረበ መደረ ነይሩ። እዛ ኣብ ማሕበራዊ ሚድያ እትነጥፍ፡ ኣብ ኣሜሪካ ክካየድ ኣብ ዝጸንሐ ምልዕዓላት ክትሳተፍ ዝጸንሐት መንእሰይ ኣድያም ሃይለ፡ ኤርትራዊ መንእሰይ ኣብ ሓጺር ግዜ ለውጢ ከምጽእ እዩ ዝብል እምነታ ኣንጸባሪቓ።
ኣባል ሰልፊ መንእሰይ ኣድያም ሃይለ ንምልዕዓል መንእሰያት ብዝምልከት ኣብቲ ጉባአ መደረኣ እናስመዐት
ኣብ ናይ 1 ነሃሰ 2019 መዕጸዊ ስነስርዓት ልኡካት መሕዙት ውድባት ክሳተፉ ትጽቢት ኣሎ። ኣብዚ መዕጸዊ ስነስርዓት ልኡኻት መሓዙት ውድባትና እንደጋና ናይ ምሕዝነት ቃሎም ከስምዑን፡ መጻኢ ዝምድነኦም ምስዚ ዝሰመረ ሰዲህኤ ብምጥቃስ ብዛዕባቲ ደንጉዩ ዘሎ ምምፍጣር ናይ ሓባር ጽላል ቅርቡነቶም ክገልጹን ትጽቢት ይግበር።
ኣብዚ ዝሓለፈ ሰሙን፡ ካብ ብዙሓት ኤርትራውያን ሓርበኛታት ናብዙ ጉባአ ናይ ደገፍ መልእኽቲ ክውሕዝ ቀንዩ። ናይ ኩሎም ናይ ጽቡቕ ትምኒትን ዓወትን መልእኽቲ ትሕዝቶ ከኣ “ጉባአኹም ናብ ሓቢርካ ምእንቲ ፍትሕን ዲሞክራስ ኣብ ኤርትራ ምቅላስ ዘምጽእ ይኹን” ዝብል ነይሩ። ኣብ ርእሲ እቲ ናይ ውድባት ደገፍ ብውልቂ ደገፎም ናይ ዝገለጹ ዝርዝር ነዊሕ ኮይኑ፡ ኣብ ኤርትራዊ መድረኽ ፍሉጣት ናይ ዲሞክራሲ ተሓለቕቲ ሓርበኛታት፡ ኣቶ ዓብደራሕማን ሰይድ (ኣቡ ሓሽም እንግሊዝ)፡ ዶ/ር ዳንኤል ርዘነ (ስዊዘርላንድ)፡ ኣቶ ሰመረ ተ፡ ሃብተማርያም (ሕመኣ)፡ ዶ/ር ሳድያ ሓሰን (ስወደን)፡ ኣልጋነሽ ገብረ (ጀርመን)፡ ምክትል ሚኒስተር ሚኒስትሪ ገንዘብ ኤርትራ ነበር፡ ኣቶ ክብሮም ዳፍላ (ሆላንድ)፡ ዶ/ር ኣልማዝ ዘርኣይ (ጀርመን)፡ ዶ/ር ቴድሮስ ኣማኑኤል (ስወደን)፡ ወ/ሮ ርግኣት ሓድሽ (ስዊዘርላንድ)፡ ወ/ር ለምለም ጸሃየ (ሆላንድ)፡ ኣቶ ዘርኤማርያም ክፍለ (ሕመኣ) ይርከብዎም።

Die Eritreische Demokratische Vereinigung e.V. in Frankfurt am Main, die derzeit mit EPDP & ENS – Hidri in Wiesbaden in einer Konferenz befindet, hat die furchtbare Tat am 29.07.2019 im Frankfurter Hauptbahnhof uns tief getroffen. Es ist nicht zu ermessen, welcher Schmerz mit dem Tod des achtjährigen Kindes über die Familie gebracht wurde. Den Angehörigen gilt unser tief empfundenes Beileid.

ጉባኤ ኣብ ክሊ ዕማማቱ፣ ነቲ ኣብ ዕለት 29 ሓምለ 2019 ኣብ ፍራንክፎርት ቀንዲ መዓርፎ ባቡራት ብሰንኪ’ቲ ሓደ ኤርትራዊ ተቐማጢ ሃገረ ስዊዘርላንድ፣ ኣብ ልዕሊ ሓደ ሸሞንተ ዓመት ዝዕድሚኡ ህጻን ዝፈጸሞ ኣሕዛኒ ቅትለት፡ ብደረጃ ከተማ ፍራንክፎርት ዝተዳለወ ናይ ሓዘን ሰዓት መጸዋዕታ ምህላዉ ተሓቢሩ። በዚ መሰረት፡ ጉባኤኛ በቲ ዝተፈጸመ ቅትለት ዝተሰምዖ ሓዘን ብምግላጽ ናይ ሕልና ዝኽረ ጸሎት ፈጺሙ፡ ናብ ህዝብን ምምሕዳርን ከተማ ፍራንክፎርት ዘቅነዐ መግለጺ ሓዘን እውን ብስም ጉባኤኛታት ኣማሓላሊፉ።

مداولات اليوم الثاني لمؤتمر حزب الشعب الديمقراطي الإرتري والإنقاذ الوطني الأرتري (حيدري)- تبني البرنامج السياسي للحزب

افتتحت مداولات اليوم الثاني لمؤتمر حزب الشعب الديمقراطي الإرتري والإنقاذ الوطني الإرتري حيدري في 29 يوليو في مدينة فيسبادن بألمانيا، ووقف المؤتمر دقيقة حداد عل ارواح الشهداء. وبعث المؤتمر رسالة تعزية إلى عمدة فرانكفورت وعائلة الصبي البالغ من العمر 8 سنوات والذي توفي يوم الاثنين في حادث قطار نتيجة دفع لاجئ إريتري له يبلغ من العمر 40 عامًا من زيوريخ، سويسرا.
أعربت رسالة التعازي من مكان انعقاد المؤتمر عن صدمتها وتعاطفها العميق مع والدي الضحية والشعب الألماني ككل وتمنت الشفاء العاجل للأم التي أصيبت في الحادث. وغطيت في وقت لاحق رسالة تعزية المؤتمر من قبل مراسلين في صحيفة فرانكفورتر الجماينه تسايتونج، إحدى أكبر الصحف اليومية في ألمانيا.
استغرق مؤتمر الوحدة في فيسبادن يومًا كاملًا لمناقشة البرنامج السياسي المكون من 26 صفحة للحزب الموحد والذي تم الاتفاق عليه بالإجماع وقرر أن يطلق عليه اسم حزب الشعب الديمقراطي الارتريEPDP .
اعتمد المؤتمر يوم الاثنين، 29 يوليو، دستور الحزب بعد جلسة افتتاحية رائعة في ساعات الصباح الاولى حضرها رئيس المجلس الوطني الإريتري للتغيير الديمقراطي (ENCDC) الذي يمثل 18 تنظيم سياسي وممثل الجبهة الوطنية الإريترية ( ENF) ، إعادة تجمع أربع تنظيمات.
من المقرر أن يواصل مندوبو المؤتمر مداولاتهم حتى يوم الخميس 1 أغسطس 2019، ثم يحضرون مهرجان إريتريا 2019 يستمر ثلاثة أيام في فرانكفورت في الفترة ما بين 2 و4 أغسطس داخل فرانكفورت.

Second day deliberations of the 3rd and Unity Congress of the Eritrean People’s Democratic Party (EPDP) and the Eritrean National Salvation/Hidri opened on 29 July in Wiesbaden, Germany, observed a moment of silence and sent a condolence message to the Mayor of Frankfurt and the family of the 8-year old boy who died on Monday in a train accident caused by a 40-year old Eritrean refugee from Zurich, Switzerland.
The condolence message from the congress venue expressed shock and deep sympathies with the parents of the victim and the German people as a whole and wished speedy recovery to the mother who was injured in the accident. The congress condolence message was later covered by reporters of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, one of Germany’s biggest daily newspapers.
The unity congress in Wiesbaden took full-day discussing the 26-page Political Programme of the unified party which was mutually agreed and decided to be called the EPDP.
The congress on Monday, 29 July, adopted the party constitution following a colourful opening session in the morning hours that was attended by the chairman of the Eritrean National Council for Democratic Change (ENCDC) representing 18 political organizations and representative of the Eritrean National Front (ENF), a regrouping of four organizations.
The congress delegates are scheduled to continue their deliberations till Thursday, 1st August 2019, and then attend a three-day Eritrea Festival in Frankfurt between 2 and 4 August inside Frankfurt.

مشاركة وفد المجلس الوطني الإرتري للتغيير الديمقراطي برئاسة السيد / نقاش عثمان ابراهيم وفي الخطاب الذي القاه عبر عن مدى سروره العميق بهذه المناسبة التي جمعته بزملاء النضال وتمنى للمؤتمر النجاح والخروج بقرارات بحجم التحديات والصعاب التي تواجه شعبنا الصامد. وأشار إلى أن وحدة صف التنظيمات الإرترية هوا هدف مركزي للمجلس وسوف يعمل جاهدا من خلال المكتب المعني بالحوار مع الكيانات الإرترية حتى تحقيق الهدف.
وكان وفد التنظيمات الاربعة بقيادة السيد/ قبركيدان قبرزقي وعضوية السيد كبرئاب مسقنا حاضراً وتناول في خطابه ممارسات السياسة الهدامة الذي يتبناها الهقدف ووضعه البلاد على حافة الهاوية. وفي الختام تمني السيد/ قبركيدان للمؤتمر النجاح والتوفيق وأكد على اهمية الوحدة بين التنظيمين وأنها خطوة في الاتجاه الصحيح وجب الحفاظ عليها.
وبعد توديع ضيوف المؤتمر الكرام. تم اختيار سكرتارية للمؤتمر مكونة من سبعة أعضاء. بدأت السكرتارية عملها بمناقشة مسودة الدستور التي تم اعدادها من قبل اللجنة التحضيرية للمؤتمر. والتي تم تداولها بين أعضاء الحزب لمراجعتها ومناقشتها في المؤتمر في وقت سابق. وبعد الانتهاء من المداولات الشاقة بخصوص الدستور ومواده الأساسية. صادق المؤتمرون بالإجماع على مسودة الدستور.
